Day 2

Rate this Entry
This is great! I made this Raw Soup for Lunch It was SOOOO good! I love eating raw, although, my family is certainly teasing me about it none stop. Also they are trying to convince me that it is unnatural and unhealthy. Much the same as I was "puting my parents neighbours out of business" (Soy Bean Farmers might I add) when I became Vegetarian. It wouldn't be such a stressful transition in the way of discouraging comments if my parent had not come to live with me while they both recover from sickness.
Lets see... The SAD diet is so healthy! That's why YOU ARE SICK!!!!! That's why everyone in my family (except me) is on a million pills a day! ARGH!!
Anyway, here's me on Day 2 feeling full of energy and knowing I made the right choice to become RAW.
Did I tell anyone why I became RAW except for the obvious healthiness of it??? Well if I didn't here it goes! A few years ago I but my dog Cosmo on the "BARF" diet because I was desperate he was 8 and was full of cancer. I kept him on the barf diet for 2 years and was so full of life even though he was full of cancer and was "only going to live weeks". Sadly he did die, but not of cancer, he died peacefully and it was very quick. I still miss him and cry when I think of him, and I have always thought that Rawfood was what gave him extra time.
I am overweight, even though I am vegetarian and exercise, so I knew I needed to take my journey to the next level.
So here's to new beginnings and life changes!
