June 12 -- Two Days Worth

Rate this Entry
Have been eating good the past two days. I guess that's a plus. I love all this Raw food. Ever since I started eating Raw in April it's gone very smoothly. Got up this morning and discovered another 3 lbs. have finally left me for good. I'm now at the 25 lbs. lost mark. I'll probably wake up tomorrow morning with another 2-3 pound loss, but then the next 7 days I'll be up and down and all around with those pounds. It's the way it happens every week. Although weight loss is not my main reason for going Raw, I must admit it's a wonderful tickle to see the pounds left behind. Who could not help but like that! I've eaten pretty much the same way yesterday and today as I do everyday. However, my green smoothie was exceptional this morning. Very simple. Hubby cut up another pineapple this morning and we put probably a half of it in the Vita Mix along with a banana. He squeezed all of the juice he could from the skin. There was quite a bit of it -- 1/2 cup, atleast. We added our usual 2 packed cups of spinach to it along with 6 ice cubes. It was by far the most delicious smoothie we've had. Lunch for me was a cauliflower, 1/2 avocado, and sliced up tomato salad, dressed with 1/2 squeezed orange. Tasty. Dinner was a big Romain Lettuce Salad with other half of avocado from lunch, 1/2 sliced cucumber, 1/2 sliced zucchini, sliced tomatoes, dressed with my favorite olive oil, White Balsamic Vinegar, Bragg's Liquid Aminos only this time I blended a little avocado into it. Such a goooooooood salad. My daughter-in-law just got home from work and brought me a taste of her first harvest from her veggie garden outside -- a radish. Wow, tastes terrific. She's proud! :)
Time for bed. 'Til tomorrow ... :)
