June 9 -- Another Beautiful Day!

Rate this Entry
Sunshine and gentle breezes is what our day was like around here today. Started the day with some cherries and then made a green smoothie (pineapple, banana, green grapes, spinach, sunflower seeds, cup of water and teaspoon of cinnamon). The cinamon made it taste terrific. Later, I went to make music with three other of my cello playing friends and we played cello quartes for two hours. What a lovely way to spend a beautiful afternoon. When I got home, I made myself a zucchini and tomato salad, and an avocado stuffed with salmon pate. I'm trying real hard to finish up the pate before it spoils. I'm getting to the point of needing to prepare some new things for next week and definitly need to make some more Flax Seed Crackers. When I make them this time (I always make a double batch) I will leave half the batter plain and add carrots and whatever the other Flax Seed Cracker recipe calls for with other half. Tonight I'm feeling the need for a few different things to eat next week. I've never gotten around to making Broccoli Soup this past week and I think that might taste good too. I usually make full recipes and just eat off of them for several days in a row. Haven't had much taste for anything tonight so I've grazed most of the night away.
Time for bed. 'Til tomorrow... :)

Corn chowder.Definitely try some. I also posted on my blog today the recipe for fajitas that is most amazing. When I got bored last fall I tried the pumpkin pie. Tossed pumkpin pieces into blender with some seasonings like pumpkin pie spices, some almond milk, a small bit of psyllium and then dehydrated overnight and then popped in fridge. Crustless. Was shocked at how good it was. The just like cheesecake recipe on the site is awesome , too. If your bored, try those. Most amazing.
