This is my Nineveh!

Hello detox!!!

Rate this Entry
I was absolutely silly to think I could skip detox all together. I hadn't seen any signs of it at all until this morning.

I woke up groggy, my skin starting to break out, itchy, and with the sourest stomach that I have had in a log time and achy as all get out.

Today's breakfast changed quickly from my standard banana based smooshy to one consisting of mostly celery, a tablespoon of local honey and a drop of oregano oil to fight off the generally achy ichyness.

It will still be a beautiful day because it is raining and because my belt needs a new hole in it. :)

drink a little more water today. it'll help flush the toxins out of you. (((hugs)))

remember that when you are fasting as well.

coconut water if you want to treat yourself is very pampering; I bought 2 young coconuts this weekend. I like the meat too but I didn't at first. I think these two were slightly older so the meat was less jelly-like.

Ya, you want the meat to be firm. Not pink or grey...

They've all had white meat. Some has been thicker and firmer than others. I don't like it when it's slithery :)

Definitely downing a tone of water. I've always followed the rule of thumb half an ounce of water per pound at least .. so I drink a ton of water throughout the day. I normally clear my pair of 32 ounce bottles twice a day still. .. but ugh for my tummy still.

As to coconut, it's a favorite! I just have to get through the hump and head to the allergist and see if I can tolerate it again.

It is so strange how allergies effect you differently if you change how you life!
