This is my Nineveh!

Friday... the scary weigh in day

Rate this Entry

I'm nervous for the morning! But no matter what the scale says, I've already come pretty far! Hopefully sleep and I get along tonight.

If the scales scare you then don't use them. Go by how your clothes fit instead :)

I agree. I never weigh myself anymore... I only do when I'm recording my weight for something important (like my 209 day fast - for my book - for information for the readers) otherwise, the scale is unused.

Right now we have some huge goals with my doctor. Part of it includes weighing in weekly. If we hit 165 and my blood sugar is still good then I get my referral for fertility. :) I get nervous about the scale because of how important it is to us right now.

The great news.. 189.4!!! I've lost 16.5 pounds since February 1.

    congrats!

with all your raw live foods... you may not need a fertility doctor!

Exactly what Aleesha said :)But also, the stress/pressure on you right now as being the person responsible for "fixing" the getting pregnant thing has a huge and detrimental effect on getting pregnant. Do you meditate? If not, I really recommend it and I bet Aleesha's bodytalk sessions would be immensely beneficial too.

It's one of the things BodyTalk does realllly well - help get mamas pregnant!

Alesha & Mystic, I really hope so!

I have cystic overies and a lot of uterine scarring from a number of miscarriages earlier in life that resulted in a blocked tube. If things start working on their own that would be pretty amazing.

I am more than relieved that I went raw again verse the diet that my doctor was encouraging. Eating that much meat protein unless is was emu (it's weird... My family raises emu as livestock) I felt heavy, bloated and miserable, and I was always hungry!

Now, I feel full, satisfied after I eat and if I'm hungry I can make amazing tasty treats that are pretty much guilt free!

I'm checking out that link and have been reading to colonics thread. Getting rid of all the old stuck stuff could be a good thing but it sounds pretty scary!

I don't have a reliable juicer. . But I think I may try to remedy that. I've never been on a juice fast before. What would I need to do that hardware wise? I have an amazing Ninja blender.

And I have to sell my husband on it as well. Though he shouldn't be a hard sell at this point.

I'll let Aleesha talk about juicers. I'm not au fait with all the ins and outs of them all. I do like my champion which I got on Aleesha's recommendation

Champion is a great juicer. I recommend it to all my fasting clients. It's quick to use, easy to clean up and you get a good quality juice which will last two days in the fridge if/when needed. You can often get them off craigslist or ebay. The age of it doesn't matter as they are build like tanks... they never die. LOL

Hmmm.. I may have to see if we can afford one. That's the big thing right now. Things are tight right now. :)
