This is my Nineveh!
Conquering a mountain
Today I feel like I am conquering a mountain.
This health thug has been daunting and my head is filled with the negative self talk of you can't and won't be successful.
I'm so determine to make it that I scrapped my professional development plan for the next three months and told my boss I can't do extras or take on additional projects. I'm spread thing too thin at work already and that stress carries over at home.
So I added a huge line break in my IDP (individual development plan) and am saying to heck with all of it.
Below the line is a reference back to the personal physical health section. I'm documenting incremental goals. Starting small, 1 day, 2 days, 3 days.... 1 week ... 2 weeks .... 3 weeks... A month.... Two months three months.
It takes 28 days to make a habit.
Forget habits. This is lifestyle.
I'm even planning to ask the bishop if I can bring raw gluton free bread for sacrament meeting. (Now that is crazy talk...)
My writing projects other than blogging and forum posts are officially tabled.
I have to focus and stay strong!
And as a silly thought, that may even be TMI, in additionto the crazy head stuff I experience IBS. Crazy, one of those things that I have on a sad diet ... But realize don't when I'm high raw. Just the addition of my favorite celery has made for solid regular poo... Oh well.
Today is the Friday Weight Fight check in. Keep in mind that over the last week I added water to my diet and cut out soda 100% and was gradually increasing my raw intake from the lettuce, pickles and tomatoes on my burgers to the 90% I manage yesterday.
195.2 down from 198 and I was "half heartedly trying".
Time for some insanity! And see you all in the forums on and off throughout the day. Thanks to my cellphone I had a pocket full of encouragers!
