I seem to have more of this in 2013. It took quite awhile and a dedication to creating it, and it is a work in progress, but I am slowly starting to reap the rewards of some free time to follow my own interests.

It's interesting, the things that I am gravitating towards...raw, fixing my house, getting a dog.

Raw -this is just something that I find really fun and interesting, and unique'ish (in my circles, lol), it never seems to stop entertaining me both in what I see in myself and in what I taste...I LOVE the never-ending variety and possibilities, it just has staying power...even when I'm not raw, I'm still in love with raw.

Fixing my house -LOVE the idea of a 'sanctuary', creating unique, beautiful spaces, learning about reno techniques, the financial possibilities of flipping houses, love it, love it, love it. Making things more functional also reduces my stress, I am more organized.

Getting a Dog -now that my youngest is 7, my maternal instinct needs Something...plus, this is about exercising in a way that is in tune with nature. I just cancelled my YMCA membership. I want to spend time in nature, with my dog and kids and create a routine about it...and a dog's needs will force me to make it a habit!

It all folds together...my diet, my exercise, my organization and stream-lining of my life. going to bed early even...haha. It's amazing how your priorities shift when you get older!

Still lots of work to do and busy to be, but I am so happy to not be so overbooked as I have been the last decade or so with six kids and full-time school, new job stress is over...only taking one course a semester and working part-time...finally here. :)
