Ok...so...

Not sure where or what I am up to these days. LOL I am still saving for something big to help jump start a new phase of Raw Living in my life. I will have about $300 next week. I am half way to a new vitamix with wet and dry blades. Or all the way there for a dehydrator.

I'm excited and confused. LOL How can I want to spend so much on these items when I don't seem to be able to maintain raw for a consistent period of time? Perhaps it the lacking there of that makes it difficult for me. These items would make a huge difference in the food that I could consume.

Creamy, dreamy raw ice cream, puddings, nut mylks, soups and smoothies. Raw breads and warmed dehydrated treats.

The options become bountiful and delish. I'm aware. I believe that is why my mind goes there. Thinking it is a missing key to my success. Hummmm....contemplation and time. I will decide eventually.

I'd start with the Vitamix, as you can use it for EVERYTHING, even if you're not living raw at some point.

I was just on every site I could find about Vitamix. :) I was thinking the same exact thing. Does anyone want to share the model they would recommend??? Thanks!

I have dreams of getting a Vitamix too Shelshel...I use the oven propped open for a D, so the Vitamix would be my first choice too...although a proper D also would be next!

Get one with the 'cone of silence' ...not sure if you've ever watched Get Smart back in the day, but you see that smoothie bars and that have a cone of silence on their machines and it makes a huge difference in the noise level. That said, I tried to price on as I couldn't find it and they said they only sell them to restaurants. ...but redirected me to amazon as there are many sellers that carry ones that fit Vitamixes. ...but if they've changed their policy and sell them to the general public, I would go with a model that works with that, or works with one of the amazon sellers.
