Day 10

Rate this Entry
I'm not really trying to count the days, but since I started on the 1st, it's not hard. Somehow it doesn't seem 10 days.

I've had two days, or better, evenings, which have been sort of tough, cravings wise. But 2 out of 10 days is not bad, so I'm still pretty happy. :)

I'm behind in preparing and knowing what I am going to eat. I always like to have a few possibilities for a meal around, so I can eat what I feel like when I need to eat.

I have been preparing foods today, soaking tons of stuff, for a bread and Juliano's meatloaf. But that wasn't going to get me through today. But I managed to find a chili recipe from Valya and Sergei Boutenko, which let me use up our sprouted lentils and fresh basil, I have managed to keep alive in a pot by the window for months, lol.

The recipe didn't wow me, but it gave me something to eat and now I'm ok. The tomato bisque that has wowed me in the past, is one, that uses 1 1/2 cups of olive oil. I just can never justify using that much oil, even though it does taste amazing. :)

Ah yes, I love me some kale chips. Really simple ones too, just olive oil and salt on them. So yummy! And fast!
