The new juicer - sheesh!

It's like trying to get a pair of angry octopus into a handbag!

The Angel which my boyfriend said he'd help me pay for needs a billion and one attachments before you can actually do something as simple as juice something! Even two of the attachments that must be used together aren't sold together!

Then if you want to juice greens and fruits together you have to change the attachments mid juicing. The nut butter making attachment makes only peanut butter - no other nut butter and there isn't a sorbet attachment even if you could afford it! How is that helpful?

The omega vert sounds great but doesn't make sorbet or nut butters.

So does that mean I should get a single auger juicer such as the green star? I cannot get more than one juicer as I have limited space at work and can't use them at home where space is even more limited. I don't want to juice berries but things as soft as pineapple would be good.

I know there are lots of juicer threads but it seems that everyone's circumstances are different and so there is no one-juicer-fits-all situation.

    T    he moderation software has gone crazy bonkers mad! It quarantined one of my own posts but stated that I could allow it if I wanted. What a rigmarole!

    Have you checked out the Champion?

    It makes nut butters with no attachment.
    It will juice pineapple, tomatoes, pears with ease.
    It also does carrots, and other root veggies.
    It will do greens if you cut them up like salad.
    You need to cut celery and fennel as well.

    It makes gorgeous ice cream.

    and it's very simple to put together and clean. takes me less than a minute to clean.

    I'm almost certain you can get it there as you have the choice as to what type of wiring you want on their website.

    I found it! Weird that it wasn't showing on the website before - I suppose they were pushing the other models and I hadn't gone into the full juicer list page or something. Ordered and it will be here tomorrow :) BF paid and I am paying him back - slowly but not as slowly as if I had gone for the Angel. I can't believe how inflexible the Angel seems to be especially for the price. Our caravan cost less than what it would cost to get the Angel and all the attachments (how is a pusher an optional extra?).
