Georgina's Raw Journey

So ... another New Year awaits

Rate this Entry
I have had a very piggy, non-raw, non vegan holiday period. I started back at work today and am juicing, juicing, juicing. Feeling good and ready to make this year even more raw than 2012 :)

thank you :) It's been a good day in many respects. I found my knitting needles in the rat infested (and boy do I mean infested) shed. They were salvageable thankfully and the first pair of socks of the year are almost half done. I love hand knitted socks :)

knitting is very meditative for me - most of the time. I mastered a new cast on this time and will be trying a new heel turn too. Do you knit or have any creative hobbies Aleesha?

I have done almost every creative hobby there is LOL Started at age 12 and never looked back. In our homeschooling co-op I was the 'art teacher'.

I've done a fair few but not almost all I don't think. Knitting I like because I just like it. I don't mind not finishing something. The act of knitting is enough. Spinning is the same. Such a soothing and meditative process. I don't have my wheels any more but do have my favourite spindle - but no fleece at the moment. You didn't exactly answer my question though - do you do any of these things now?

i do. i homeschool my daughter so we are always doing something. in this moment... i'm focused on this dvd correspondence course so it's taking up all my free time.

I was home schooled for about 3 years. It was odd but suited me I suppose. I asked to go to regular school when I was 13 so I stopped being home schooled. I didn't get to do artistic things even though my mother is very talented.
