The rain today has been huge. The whole of the South West has been hammered and more due tomorrow night - living 6 feet from the river bank is less appealing at this moment.

    I think the fishy-fish are probably whizzing past to quickly anyway. The water is not at the top of the bank yet. I think it will be close when the rain we have today hits full blast. I'm expecting flooding further down stream and hoping we are high enough to stay dry.

    River level was down on lunchtime level when we got back from work but the rain has started up again. Low tide is at 8:15 so once it starts coming in again the level will definitely go up again. It's supposed to be dry tomorrow. I hope it is :)
