Fasting Day 1

Well...I've put it off long enough!!! It's time to throw my hat in the fasting ring and give my body a much needed break from nut based meals. I will begin with juicing this morning and drinking Rejuvelac.

I'm gonna do some reading about it today because I'm really not sure how much I need to drink. I don't necessarily trust listing to my body right now.

I've gotten down to one - two BM's a day. So, I think I may be slightly constipated. I was doing 3-4 a day than stopped some time ago. That's one motivation for my fasting. Another is that I've hit a plateau for weight loss that I'd like to break through.

I wish I had a Greenstar juicer, but I do have a Jack LaLanne, so in gonna have to use that. I'm not sure how long I'll go, but I'm willing to commit to one week to start.

I like Parz's idea of Lemon/Lime water, so I'm gonna make a jug of it this morning. I really wanna really do the MC because its easier for me, so I may move over to that after this week, I dunno. I know some people don't like it, but I have had great experience with it in the past and I happen to like it.

I will start with juicing first. So....here I go!!!!!

    Firstly - yay :) Secondly there's nothing to be worried about really; it should be a largely enjoyable experience. Though some would say it is restrictive, I find it very freeing and mind opening :) Do tell us all how it's going.

    Parz never does lemon/lime water. ???

    Drink anywhere from 2-6 litres of juice a day. You'll know when you are full. You'll know when you are in need of juice. You can trust your body Nee... it's your mind you need to ignore!

    I thought you said on your blog somewhere that he liked Lemon and you liked lime??? Hummm....guess I read that wrong! Sorry Parz!!!! :)
