June 2 One More Great Day
So here we are--day 2 of June challenge. I started my day with a green smoothie of 2 peaches, 1 granny smith apple, 1 cup pineapple, 2 stalks celery, 3 cups packed spinach. This made about 7 cups of smoothie. My hubby (for the first time) and I shared the smoothie and both thought it was very good. I've also had one banana, and a handful of grapes this morning. I think I will have my usual chopped salad of 1 avacado and any other veges I have on hand for lunch. This is my favorite standby. After lunch my hubby and I will be going to the Health Club for an hour or so. I have many pain issues and find walking in the heated therapy pool very enjoyable. He will do his floor workout. After that we will be making a stop at Cosco to replenish our produce supplies. We usually finish our produce shopping at Dominick's Food Store. I eat as much organic AS I can find. These two stores are the ones I'm most successful at. However, I do eat whatever other fresh produce looks good. As far as dinner--I haven't given much thought to it since I don't have many things in the house at the moment. I probably will make broccoli soup for dinner. That's always fast and tastes sooooo good. I must make flax seed crackers tonight. I ran out 2 nights ago and I'm having withdrawal.I absolutely love those crackers!!
I suppose I should make this entry official by stating my statistics as of yesterday. I am 5' 10" tall. I have been eating raw for 2 months, as I have mentioned before, and I started at 235 lbs in April. I am now down to 213 as of yesterday. So, that means 22 lbs. without even working at it. Whoppiii! I'll probably weigh myself once a week during this challenge. My desire is to loose as much weight as my body decides is right for me--I will be very pleased whatever that might be. Since my goal is health first, the weight seems to come off without even thinking about it. I Love It! 'Til later today or tommorrow.... :)

I absolutely love those crackers!!
