Day 1 of 30 day challenge
I woke up feeling pretty tired today and the weather is just nasty in MI. So, my mood and the weather match.
Here are the stats for today so far.
Morning
3 dehydrated hummus chips
1/2 tsp flax oil
1 tsp raw apple cider vinegar
2 cups lentil sprouts
green smoothie with kiwi and celery
peppermint and spearming tea
large handful of dried cherries
Afternoon
1/2 tsp psyllium husk
2 cups asparagus
eggplant dip with parsley, tahini, garlic and lemon juice
1 brazil nut
2 cups cantalope (leftover from a lunch meeting - it was all I could eat).
1 banana
2 carrots
2 cups strawberries
(I think I need to pack more fatty food tomorrow as I am feeling pretty hungry at 3PM).
Well, I think I let myself get too hungry during the day, since I came home and ate everything raw in sight. When you read my evening "meal" below, bear in mind that I am under 5 feet tall - so this is a lot of food.
Evening
1 avocado
about 10 hummus chips
about 10 lime pepper crackers (Alissa recipe)
about 15 Mexican crackers (Alissa recipe)
15 dried figs
1 orange
1 small salad with tomato, handful of dried cherries and lemon juice
10 Whole Foods raw ravioli covered in lots of hot chili pepper (if you have not tried these, run to your closest Whole Foods to get some - they are delicious!)
3 huge spoonfulls of raw honey
1 huge spoonful raw cashew butter
Done for the day - hopefully I won't keep this trend up!
