Day 2 and Lessons Learned
Well, if you read my blog from yesterday you will see that Day 1 was all about learning to pack more food with sustenance (during the day) so that I don't come home so insanely hungry that I eat killer quantities of raw food. I guess this is a journey - right?
So, today I am going to record what I think I am going to eat and I am going to try and stick to it so I don't feel as miserable as I do today after last night's raw food binge...... I might also be tired because my body is getting used to the new diet, but I think most of it has to do with all of the rich food I ate last night.
Morning
3 dehydrated hummus chips
1/2 tsp flax oil
1 tsp raw apple cider vinegar
2 cups lentil sprouts
green smoothie with kiwi and celery
peppermint tea
Afternoon
1/2 tsp psyllium husk powder
2 cups asparagus
eggplant dip with parsley, tahini, garlic and lemon juice
1 brazil nut
1 banana
1/4 avocado
1 tbs hemp seed powder
(hoping the protein and fat from avacado will keep me full for a while)
2 carrots
2 cups strawberries
Evening
3 nori rolls with avocado and spinach
5 Whole Foods raw ravioli smothered in red chili pepper (I like very spicy food)
1 large spoonful raw honey
1 large spoonful raw cashew butter
1 orange
I ended up eating two more avocados in the evening when I got hungry.
