About to get started after I type this up. Woke up later than I would like..... at least I'm ready to do this!!
Gonna do the part of the classic version of P90X with my own modifications of what I would like to do, but still follow Tony's format. I want to focus on my arms, legs, stomach, and my rear end, not on my chest so I'm gonna either skip the second set or most of the push ups. I see the results are great for men but not for me. As a woman who is keeping the chest area to stay the way is it as I work out!
I have several "One On One with Tony Horton" that I'm going to throw in the mix as well. And for a little challenge or if I get bored, I have the "P90X Plus" on hand to mix things up a bit or I can use any exercise DVDs that matches pretty similar to Tony's Format for that day (collected them over the years so I might as well put the DVDs to good use). Really NOT AT ALL the type of person who likes to go to the gym or classes to workout. Prefer to workout at home or do outdoor stuff like riding a bike/go for a walk/etc.
Waking up extra early from now on to do this. Training myself to be an early bird with "I can't wait to get this day started!!" attitude. Oh yeah!
First gonna walk 10 minutes on my treadmill before each workout since I can't and won't leave walking out of my routine!! Love it too much so I figure 10 minutes is reasonable to warm up before getting started before each P90X workout.
Then afterward, no raw food (smoothie) recovery drink. It just made me feel really bloated which is not the feeling I want after a workout. Just gonna have my raw food breakfast like always instead.
To keep my blood sugar in check, no high carb raw food meals for me which I have been doing for some time now which made a huge improvement for me. Overeating any type of raw food is not good for my health. I wait three to four hours between each meals, no snacks. This is what works for me to keep my blood sugar in check, steady, and normal.
And as far as the protein goes, no fancy protein drink for me this time. Just one tablet of Bee Pollen with each raw food meal I have. Been taking it for awhile and love how I feel!
Then at night time, doing my routine of the Brazil Butt Lift that I really never did except for like a week off and on. So I want to see how it works out for 90 days with my routine in mind. So the routine is gonna go like this, do the "High and Tight" version every night (it's a really mellow toning workout) except for the last night of the week which is day six, do the "Bum Bum" version which is more of a toning/cardio workout or the BBL "Secret Weapon" version which is another toning/cardio but way intense.
Then on the seventh day, facial exercises. Yes, we have muscles in our face! Why not work those out as well to keep the face looking good in it's true form!!
And as far as photos of results go, maybe I will or maybe not post the results as of day 1, 30, 60, 90.... at Day 90 depending on how I feel about posting them...
I am at the weight I want to be which is 112-118 but I don't want to be under 112 or over 118, which I have been both. This is the perfect weight I like to stay at. Bee Pollen seems to help me balance this out which may have been the missing ingredient to my raw food lifestyle. I'm a short person with small bone frame so I'm realistic about my weight taking the amount of bone mass into consideration along with muscle mass as well. No, I don't have the fancy scale that tells me that kind of stuff. It's just common sense and all. I do finally have a basic scale after not owning one for so many years. Why I have one is to make sure I don't become underweight while I'm in the mode of working out.
I am doing this to shape up my body, keep it strong, limber, and healthy.
Okay that sums it up!!!
Getting started!!!!
Just here to share my experience and staying motivated.
