This has been a positively rawlicious day! Here is the difference...I have made the choice. No more searching, I have simply found.

I went to a doctor's appointment yesterday only to discover, everything is perfect! (FYI, everything is not perfect. ) The doctor said my thyroid hormone levels were perfect. After mentioning the brain fog and swollen ankle, aching knees....he suggested a morning ALEVE and another one in the evening. NOT!

I was done. I know that the best I have ever felt...was Raw. I have been struggling because deep down I thought the first doctor who put me on thyroid hormone wasn't correct in the dosage. I have found out from a second that it is spot on. So, my only hope at healthy living and feeling...is Raw.

When the searching is complete and there is only one path that lays before you, it becomes a lifestyle. And so. I journey on and enjoy. Remembering the simplicity and joys of eating raw.

starting weight yesterday: 178 pounds
Today's weight: 176.8

How is your raw day going? (((HUGS)))

Nice job Shelshel! I read some research once that said people go raw for serious health reasons are most likely to stay raw. I'm glad you're doing the best thing for you!
I am dealing with some eating compulsion issues, which is going surprisingly really well also! I am folding in more and more raw and craving it, but slowly. One thing I am working on is improving my repetiore of raw recipes and experimenting. sooooo with that said, I would love the recipes or if you could just tell me the book, I do have some of them. Are they Ani recipes? ...the raw unstir-fry maybe or the pancakes? ...I made pancakes but they didn't turn out, but I would like to try again. Do you put a syrup on them, or they don't need any? Coconut and blueberries are a really good combo :)

You're menu looks seriously delicious and now I'm starving! :)

Bananna!!! I missed you! glad to see you still here. Well. Honestly most of my stuff is my own take on Someone elses recipe. Some turn out and some don't. Like tonight. Lol. I have made raw brownies a million time and I wasn't aware how much my carob chips were to this. I tried raw nibs. Whoa. Really awful. Not sure what I did wrong there. The dinner I listed here is exactly as I made it. Cut up the veggies small and let them marintate in braggs and wasabi.
Glad you are doing good! I'm hoping to stay dying and keep rawkin on. (((hugs)))
