Hey, hey!
Hope everyone is having a good run at the holidays...lol. I am just banging out my very last assignment of the semester. Yesterday I wrote 18 page of essay...EIGHTTEEN in one day. Ok, technically it was 2am by the time I was done.

Soooo, I've decided that even though I've been all raw before and could technically just dive right in, I'm going in, in gradual increments. I've probably said this before...but I have been doing this pretty much all fall, so I am seeing the results and that it is working for me.

As previously mentioned I am off gluten (although I Must've inadvertantly eaten something in one of the foods I had yesterday because my knees are Killing me, as is much of my skeleton and I have a headache), and I'm off dairy, peanuts, almonds and kidney beans. And it's been almost THREE WEEKS.

I feel Sooooo much better (except for today), but obviously I could be doing better as I know from raw.

So I have officially decided that I'm going to do a raw breakfast, that is my next goal...no matter what, I will always have fruit or a green smoothie or something for breakfast.

Once I've got that down, I will try going all raw till supper...but for now, it is a challenge just to eat a piece of fruit...sad, I know...

You can do it!! Do you not like the taste of fruit or is it too much work to chew? If you juice some or make a smoothie it won't be so hard ;)

Thank you Saria....I am picky about fruit, yes, it has to be perfectly ripe and yummy. Smoothies are good...I will probably mostly have those. I have just fallen out of the habit of liking them more than anything, but I think this is a good starting place for me! Thanks for your support!

It sounds like you have a plan! That's great. Just keep telling yourself "progress not perfection". That trying to be perfect will lead you right back to SAD. Enjoy your raw breakfast and hang in there.

I was making my smoothie one night and on a whim I added an avocado... I kinda thought it sounded gross. But then again yummy and creamy. IT'S FABULOUS! Maybe it'll help you like smoothies again?
