Today is my 2nd very-high-raw day.
I already feel amazing and have a newfound passion for the lifestyle. Some of the old-timers here may remember me.
In 2007, I attempted raw the first time. Widely successful, I had lost 60lbs and felt absolutely amazing. But after moving to Australia and being heavily depressed, food addiction took over and I gorged on sugars to numb the pain. And of course, I regained all the weight and lost the countless health benefits.
I am finally waking up. After many unsuccessful attempts, I am now trying again, this time fully ready and committed. I plan to write here often to keep me accountable.
B- 2 bananas
S- 2 nectarines
L- Large spinach salad w/ non-raw italian dressing, raw piastachios
S- Blueberries, 1 serving of gummy frogs, half a clif bar
D- Green beans - about 2 cups, 2 eggs, another spinach salad
Dessert- soy ice cream sandwich
So yes, some slip-ups. But, This is VERY much so progress for me. I am finally getting to a place where I have an open heart and an open mind again. Plus, in the last 2 days, I've already lost 2lbs - so that keeps me motivated!
