Yesterday has turned into today . . .

Managed to stay away from bf's chicken and potato salad and cauliflower cheese. Man that was tough.

I've felt ok today but a little rattled by yesterday's near cave-in.

I know I'm not going to like what I taste if I eat his foods. I know that they will make me feel like crap. It was only that really that pulled me through. That and my sig and ticker telling me what I have achieved so far.

Today I have been eating mostly fruit and salads; some raw french dressing on a tomato and red onion salad for my evening meal. This is really my saviour meal. It gets me through all sorts of scrapes and low moods.

    Well done for staying strong mystic, it's tough but I'm sure your body will love you that much more for it. Now if only we could come up with a raw version of potato salad :)

    what is your french dressing?? ...good for you!! Apparently that's the thing about overcoming addictions, that you think Beyond the drug onto the crash afterwards and use that imagery to avoid doing it.

    Raw potato salad would be a very wonderful thing indeed.

    My french dressing is 1 part organic cider vinegar and 2 parts raw extra virgin olive oil. salt and pepper and 3 organic medjhool dates all blitzed up in the blender so it goes thick.

    Optional ingredients, garlic and ginger
    or seaweed
    Sometimes I use honey instead of the dates but then I leave the dressing thin like trad. french dressing.
