Making a Big Effort to be Hydrated

When I gave up drinking 3-6 litres of diet coke a day I really found it difficult to remember to drink.

I am increasing my juice intake to about 500ml-1500ml a day and I drink 1500ml at work on the whole. I try to drink 500ml when I wake up and a similar amount before I go to bed. It still doesn't seem to be a huge amount although I also eat a good 500ml when I have melon and other fruits and veggies.

Recommendations vary from one online resource to another but I certainly feel better for making the effort that I have so far.

    When it comes to water intake I worry as well (and will be even more so now that I'm back to living in an extremely hot climate) but I find the best reminder is just carrying a large water bottle with me and refilling it at all times. Then I just drink as much as I can whenever I remember. Do you drink during meals? Just curious.

    no I generally don't drink at meal times. I am trying to be hydrated properly at all times so at meals I can just let my stomach acids do their thing. I will drink again after my meal has "gone down".
