Not So Rawsome Birthday
So yesterday was my birthday! I had a blast went to the water park with friends i had brought some fruits and nuts along but after all the swimming i still got hungry. I had a veggie wrap from the deli all the veggies were fresh but the only non raw part was the spinach wrap(bread) but i was like it's life right now i can't be too stressed over food(better eat something cause my body un necessary stress). Then at my birthday dinner at the japanese steak house i had my salad i also had vegetarian sushi(sushi rice not raw) i had some cooked zucchini, couple spoons of miso soup, and 3 pieces of shrimp(super tiny dime sized shrimp lol). My desserts were also not raw i had a chocolate cupcake and orange sorbet. My bodie's reaction to the food was just a little bloating but nothing major. I wasn't upset or hard on myself because i'm not trying to be a strict raw foodie that has to ruin special moments in life over food. I understand that this way of life is much better for me and i love doing it and don't plan to stop anytime soon but i know that there will be times where i'm going to have to compromise just for one day. Today i'm back on track no cravings for any cooked foods or junk even though i had some junk yesterday. I plan to eat lots of fruit today and water maybe as a little "Detox" from the junkie foods i had yesterday but all in all i'm going to keep on rawkin on. I love being raw and my mom got me a eating clean book for my bday..i was a bit surprised![]()
