My Wonderfully Raw Journey
My new Raw Fridge!
So i cleaned out my fridge today and my freezer and cabinets. There's 5 whole foods bag of SAD food that i'm giving away to my co workers cause idk what else to do with it. I made my first semi raw meal today it was chia seed cereal with goji berries, pumpkin seeds, currants, bananas and the not so raw part was the fact that i used some of the left over almond breeze. I really couldn't afford raw almonds @ 13.99/lb so i got other nuts and seeds instead and figure i'll try making oat milk or pistachio milk or any other type of milk. But since i'm only in a transitional state right now i figured it's ok. So all day i've eaten 2 bananas, 1 apple, handful of pistachios, 1/2 cup of carrot sticks, and my chia seed cereal....I'M SOOO FULL!!I don't know if it's because i've done intermittent fasting and its taught me how to connect with my body and realize i don't need to eat as much as i used to think but when i look back at what i ate today it wasn't much but i've had energy and felt good all day and that's what matters.
I feel so liberated that i cleaned out my cabinets!!!
You see the almond breeze and two bottles of tea that i thought i was going to keep but im gonna give them away. That brown bag is the food that needs to stay refrigerated but it has egg whites, eggs, mayonnaise, butter, things i haven't touched in a while lol. My roommate says it looks like a garden lol. And yes i kept my organic pb since i'm sure i can finish it off with some celery and currants. There's only dry roasted peanuts in it no salts sugar nothing it's not raw but its a start
