Day 56
Did a bit of a weekly shop this morning though money is tight so it was a very careful spend and it was strange walking up and down the aisles and wondering why people eat so much rubbish. I didn't crave as I passed the chocolate aisle or the biscuits or cheese or pates or any of the things that I used to eat.
I am curious about unpasteurised Miso. I feel I could maybe eat some of that in soups and dressings; it may not be raw but it is living. We shall have to see about that in the future.
There were no ripe avocados and I have some already ripening in the fruit bowl but there was a pang when I realised that I won't be having avo in my salad today.
Teeny-tiny baby beetroot are becoming ready in the garden and I had some in my lunch salad along with various other salady things and some seaweed & ginger dressing.
I have watermelon and oranges and I get paid next week thank goodness.
