Georgina's Raw Journey

Feeling low . . .

Rate this Entry
I suffer from mild bi-polar. I've been heading for a low for about 3-4 weeks and today I feel miserable.

I don't have any idea of quitting raw by comfort eating. Raw still feels very solid.

I'm not sure which foods would help but have eaten a handful of soaked almonds last night and re-introduced avocado today - I had stopped eating them because I am low on money and don't get paid til 30th June!

I'm not tired but I just want to crawl into a hole and sleep.

Been there, done that! I don't know exactly what assisted me in changing and bringing it (me) all together. Wish I did. I think it was a combination of qigong, food program and daily appreciations.

Sleep if you need to my friend. Sometime our minds just need to rest. *big hugs*

I think recognizimg it gives it less power...I don't know about bi-polar but for me happiness seems to be a choice...misery is easy they say.

I self medicated the lows with caffeine before - and then I got addicted to diet coke!

I've had a good cry and slammed a few doors! I should get a punch bag I suppose. It has to be let out or I feel worse and worse and feeling suicidal is not good!!!

I am reading "The Art of Happiness" and that has helped a bit. I must get back into the habit of writing a Haiku every morning. That helps too.

It's all in the management and I don't want to take prescription drugs; they work short term but not long term.

I find running really helps me anxiety...so I know what you mean about needing to let it out. :)

((((((HUGS))))))))) It'll all work out. Be kind to your self and get outside. Sunshine will help perk you up. =)
