Just a Quick Pre'start' Note
I am done school for 12 awesome weeks and am making it my mission to establish some seriously healthy and high raw habits and an exercise regime!
I start school (yes I know I just said I finished!) school in July, and unlike my previous distance ed program, this one is in the real life, bricks and mortar, face-to-face format. I want to be feeling positive about how I am looking as I realize that will translate into confidence, bonding and overall enjoyment of the experience. It is a 12 month program, half of which is placements, so I think/hope it will interesting enough that I won't need to soothe/rebel with silly, destructive foods and will be able to Instead keep the habits I hope to form in the coming weeks off.
My aim in these 12 weeks is to try High raw again...say 80-90-100%? No pressure though, just fun and working out. It is an experiment, (as usual for me lately)....this time I have modified my stress levels (no school), so I am really interested to see if high raw is tangible with lower stress, as in the past (high stress/workload) it was always this slippery slope effect back to poor food choices.
If I succeed at high raw, it will tell me that forever after, I need to make sure that I never bite off more than I can chew....because it leads me to literally also bite off more than I can chew. haha
I really hope these weeks show me that because I HABITUALLY bite off more than I can chew in life...for many reasons...postponing to tomorrow what I could do today, preventive strategies, having a hard time saying no to people, etc.
That said, I actually don't regret all of my kiddos because I love them and they enrich my life so much, and getting this degree while taking care of them really will help me crawl out of the hole I've dug myself. But now I am out of the ditch...the last year of schooling will be placements and networking and interesting as all heck!
So I'm taking this week to dust myself off, clean up my house, exhale, clean out my fridge and get my kitch organized up a bit, etc. I am already eating higher raw and thinking excitedly about some different things I could make and am getting equally excited about becoming a gym junkie, complete with shower and sauna after.
So hopefully I will be talking and blogging on here much more now!
