First Dehydrator!

I drove the distance to Cabela's to pick up their ten tray. I understand the praise for Excalibur, but I just couldn't wait to order one. A classy blender I totally understand right now, but the top of the line dehydrator doesn't seem urgent at the moment.

Anywho, I've currently got a tray of strawberries dehydrating, two trays of kale chips with braggs, olive oil and sesame and 1 tray of ani phyo's sunflower seed bread. Ohhhh baby! The dehydrator is really going to make things more exciting for me. And James is looking forward to having a constant supply of snackfoods in the Kale chips

I need to head to the Italian part of town to get sun dried tomatoes soon. Great prices

avocado watercress soup topped with fresh corn for dinner and cashew vanilla kreme for dessert. sooooooo delicious!

    Ooo I'm excited for you! I need a dehydrator too. Let us know how this one is working for you! Strawberries sound so good right now. mmm. And I never even thought of going to Cabela's, good call!

    I was hoping Cabela's would have the Excalibur but they did not. Still, so far so good with their own model! The bread I made (black sesame sunflower bread) is absolutely divine. I had a slice for brekkie with cashew cheese spread on it.

    I love Ani's sunflower bread - just made it a little while back....mmmmmm....

    You will have soooo much fun creating new things.....so much to make.....lol....~monk~
