my body loves being raw
so five days into this, I'm pretty close to 100% raw, whatever might not be raw in Larabars, I've got some non-raw vegan salad dressing that I ate a couple of times and something I tried making with a few canned chickpeas. My diet has consisted mostly of green smoothies, kambucha, larabars, flax seed crackers and salad. I've not had any cravings for bad food, and feel committed to continuing down this path.
My body has been responding well, just a little detox breakout on my face so far and a couple of headaches. I've dropped 7 pounds in the past five days and already feel like I can move around better. Everyone keeps asking me about what I "can't" eat, but I prefer to focus on what I "will" be able to do once I'm slender and healthy again!
I'm going shopping today to get ingredients for some of my favorite recipes in Alissa's book so I can broaden my diet.
