    Thanks for sharing Shel!!

I agree that eating all Raw can be a social challenge at times & I usually don't go out alot to face that challenge....

The holidays are more difficult for me & I usually have eaten cooked in the past, but this last year I really observed how everything tasted & how I felt afterwards......my conclusion....NOTHING tasted "So Amazing" that I couldn't do without it.....this year I am going to try & push past it and bring my own goodies, knowing that they will be satisfying to me & not send me spiraling into a place of feeling horrible when I'm done eating them.....

I would love to be able to find a cooked/raw balance, because sometimes I do yearn for that "warm, comfort" feeling....and living in WI it gets pretty cold at times.....

I'm going to be going to school in Sept to be an Ayurvedic consultant. It works on an individual level with people - food, exercise, herbs, etc....realizing what's good for some, is not always good for others....I feel the same about Raw as well - we are all made up of different "constitutions" (in Ayurveda) - where all Raw may balance some, it may cause an imbalance in others.....

Sorry to take over your response section here!! lol

    Guess what?!
I am going to do some exercise today - a yoga dvd.....YOU are my INSPIRATION!!

    Thank you Shelshel~~monk

(p.s. I haven't posted to my blog yet, but I will today....I've posted mostly in the 30 Day Challenge sections - with daily pictures of the foods I've been having)

Shelshel, I think you are doing a lot of work here, really analyzing the issues, and it's helping me along as well, as our issues and path in recent years has been the same.

I really think this can work well and I'm just so relieved in a way!

Like Monk, you are also planting the exercise seed in my brain also...I took two teens to the ymca and worked out myself...I'm interested in exercise now atleast, I'm not doing it everyday, but I do have my eye on the whole idea...guess I'm just still figuring out the morning vs. evening thing. Tonight I'm going skiing with the kids, so I will count that as some exercise :) I really loved running when I did it though, and would like to start that back up.

    Do continue to blog here!!
