Hey Shelshel...yes, I am still struggling with whether to be100% or not...well 95% cuz let's not care about maple syrup, really raw nuts, spices, or whatever little things you add to spice up raw and make it a bit more affordable.

Between that 95% or say 90 or 80% ...it is SUCH a slippery slope. And yes it's scary how easily the bad habits can return, even as you have proven after Months of being all raw! ...and me too, although I've only made it 2 months at a time...but what a regression, and it all came about so innocently with just a little bit of cooked intended.

I find it Really hard to be 80%...Much harder than being 95-98%. It's something about the getting back on track, after that one meal...I just don't understand what to do...do I work on this 80% more, or do I be militantly all raw, lol.

Gaaah! That said, it's now Thursday and even though my last post said I was going all raw the next day, I am now finally ready to go all raw tomorrow. It was going to be today but I had 2 appointments, errands and had to buy groceries to do it and ended up ill-prepared for when hunger hit and decided to just invest in tomorrow. ...I have now gained back all of the 5 pounds I lost.

I don't even particularly Like this food...well I like it, but it's totally unrealistic junk food addiction nonsense.

So both of us tomorrow!! I figured out that I want to lose 3 pounds a week for the next 20 weeks, which I'm pretty heavy so that's realistic I think...but realize it might be higher at first and slower at the end....but this is when I start school (the actual school, not distance ed).

The other thing is that I've been inspiring some friends on facebook with my food pics to the point where I have now gotten 3 people heavily into raw and just feel like this whole thing is Bigger than just US you know? Like people are really influenced by it over time...I really want to represent properly, lol.

Anyways...sorry this turned into a blog post..haha...just confused what I should focus on, finding balance with 80% or going all raw. I'm focusing all raw for now...I feel like I'm missing some strategy or mindset or something to do 80%...would it be better to Map it out....like Only on one particular night and only enough servings available for that one meal...that's what messed me up last time, leftovers. ...maybe it has to be the last meal of the day too, as you proved today? Like just this very specific, foolproof set of circumstances....mmm I don't know...would love to hear your thoughts!

Bananna, I may not be the best person to ask. :O I woke with such great intentions. Exercised for an extra few sets with the free weights. Was doing awesome. Had my raw breakfast planned. Don't you know I shook my head and made coffee. I haven't had but some fruit today that is raw. Icarumba!
I know exactly what you are saying about others watching. They were coming at me like flies trying to find out how I got down to 113 pounds...you know years ago now...(I've gained it all back!)
It discourages me that I lack resolve.
However, I'm encouraged that the exercise is sticking. I really feel better after it and want to keep adding more and more, which is huge for me. So, I am off to grocery shop tonight, picking up a new workout video on the way.
I feel like I'm making progress, not where I want to be, but getting better. So, I guess that is my thought for the both of us.
Are you making progress??? Do you eat better more of the time than you eat badly??? Keep it up and eventually it has to become a good habit that sticks...more and more. It did at one time for me...for a whole two years. I'm simply finding my way back.
Keep trying, only good can come from it. Even if you are 80%, and struggle a few times a week, you are doing way better than most of America on a regular basis. And like you said, the junk doesn't taste good. Eventually it won't be appealing at all.
Thanks for sharing. It makes me feel good to know I'm not in this alone. There are others who understand. (((HUGS)))
