A Lesson Learned - 4 is the magic number
I've come to a conclusion. 4 days is the magic number. 4 days ago I had some (cooked) brownies. I was doing so well, but I gave in for reasons that I should have been able to control. Anyways, for the days since then I have been eating all healthy (I'm 90% raw, 10% cooked whole grains and legumes), and today I woke up feeling GREAT!
This has happened before when I've slipped up, it's taken 4 full days of eating well, and feeling kind of foggy to get that spark back. It's so worth it! Now that I know that one little brownie will slow me down and make me feel groggy for over 3 days, I know it's not worth eating it!
-smoothie: 1 cup mixed berries, 1/2 tbsp. maca
-smoothie: 4 large red chard leaves, banana, 1/2 cup alfalfa sprouts, 1/2 cup mixed berries
-blended salad: 1/2 cup spinach, baby bok choy, 1/2 avocado
-quinoa with 2 cloves garlic
-smoothie: 1 bunch parsley, 2 bananas, 1 tbsp. sesame seeds
-tofu and alfalfa sprouts in nori rolls
-30 min elliptical trainer
-50 min yoga
