Ready, Set, Go! Restarting DAY 1...again!

Thank God for new days!!! I had to go out of town with my job this week and I leaned off of the wagon, but I woke up today with renewed zeal and vigor! I did take my mini blender on my trip with me, though, and made banana/mango/rice milk smoothies in my hotel room. I also brought nuts and dried fruit, Almond butter, and flax crackers with me to snack on. So, I tried to prepare and arm myself with raw food. But, I work on the airplane preparing the first class meals and having food left over was too much of a temptation for me to handle! I'm going to make sure that I stay out of that work position for the rest of the month! I do much better when I work in coach class where all we serve is pretzels!!!

Anyway, putting the past behind me, I'm going to start fresh today with the 30 day raw challenge. I submitted my "before" photo and I'm looking forward to seeing a different looking person in 30 days. :)

The main problem that I have is that I keep losing my focus. I need to stay connected with you guys every day so that I keep my goal firmly fixed in my mind and see the finish line. I'm going to log in every day (and I will honestly report if I lean again!) I really do wish that I was in a position to do a small fast to jump start my raw challenge, but I know that I need to be prepared for it, and right now I'm not. For those of you who are doing it, keep up the good work! You're so inspiring!

Well, gonna start my day with 30 minutes on the treadmill after my Green Lemonaide. Ready, Set, here I GOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Blessings ReneeH! We're right there with you! I tell ya - I do believe that logging in as much as possible, being accountable did help me through the April challenge. If you do stay as true as possible to the Raw Lifestyle - by the end of 30 days you will be shocked and amazed at the benefits and blessings you receive. this is a gift you give yourself ReneeH... and you deserve it!!

    Thank you so much for that! I did great today! After my workout, that I took my kids to the zoo! Normally after eating SAD food, I take a 2 hr nap in the middle of the day, but because I was raw today I had the energy of a Cheetah! Right now my husband is sitting down to a fried chicken dinner and I am NOT going to have any! I left the kitchen immediately and here I am! Fried chicken is hard for me to give up, but I'm worth it! Thanks for the feedback. Day 1 is off to a GREAT start!
