Day 4 Continued
Ok, real quick here...what did I eat the rest of the day?
I tried making three nut/seed recipes I found! That was a BLAST! I soaked almonds over night and soaked a mix of sunflower and pumpkin seeds for a couple of hours. Then I made sweetened almond cream, almond hummus and sunflower/pumpkin seed pate.
Lunch -
A few broccoli florets and red bell pepper slices dipped in the almond hummus. I thawed out some frozen berry mix to try the sweetened almond cream on, but was literally so full from the hummus and vegies (I really didn't eat much!) that I couldn't eat it!
Snack -
Venti decaf Americano coffee at Starbucks with a girlfriend (I know it's not raw, but I figured it's zero calories and no refined gunk like sugar or flour, so I decided it was ok.
Food Snack -
The berries and almond cream I meant to have with lunch! YUM!
Dinner -
More fresh vegies and dips from earlier. I had raw baby spinach leaves, red bell pepper, tomato chunks, snow peas, broccoli florets. Then tried stuffing a couple of dates and banana slices with the almond cream.
Snack -
1 slice fresh pineapple, finely chopped
1- 2 inch piece of fresh coconut, shredded
a couple of tablespoons of the almond cream
drizxle of agave nectar
Mixed together and devoured!
