It's been awhile
So, I moved back into the dorms/started going to college again. It was EXTREMELY shocking and hard. I have to admit, I started falling back into my awful eating habits.![]()
A few weeks ago, I realized that I had settled into college and was ready to get back into raw food. I'm not going to push myself too hard, I'm just aiming for 70-80% raw with 19% being clean cooked food (like steamed veggies, rice, natural peanut butter, healthy salad dressings, and legumes) and 1% will be the rare slip ups that I will try to avoid, but not punish myself if they happen.
I'm hoping to just do this for the rest of my college career (since I don't have a kitchen). When I graduate in May 2011, I will move into my own place and start 90% and then eventually 100% in the Fall of 2011. I want to take it really slow and not rush anything. I think that one of the main reasons I slipped back into really bad eating habits was I was trying to be perfect. Now, I'm okay with not being perfect but still trying to be pretty good. I think this will be enough to get me started.
