Im back for sure :))
ooh i soo missed you guys! Thank you for being a constant in my life when everything else is a whirlwind!
I just got some financial aid stuff squared away (yes I am still in school gosh darn it!) and I saw that i was getting more aid than I thought I needed. As I was thinking what I needed to cover in terms of expenses, A thought struck me..
What if I spent the year making some savings investments and put aside money to do the raw certification ?
And a sense of peace and happiness totally came over me! Thats what I plan on doing guys -- im finally going to get certified, GOD willing that there will be additional classes in the late summer and/or fall!
I decided to look online and estimate the cost, and its about half of my aid package..but if I budget and save, maybe even invest in a CD for 6 months, that may help me a bit.
I dont want to get ahead of myself, but I thought I would put it to writing since its something that i have thought about so many times and not acted on -- 2010 is the year of action -- no more thinking and mulling it over -- if you know its a divine thought and dream, pray for the steps and path to emerge and start to move forward!
I was really blessed to see that I had a private message from over a month ago saying that had a featured blog post in January. The person who emailed me connected to the post that day and she is a raw newbie -- that really made my day and helped be solidify so many new commitments I am making to myself this year.
As you may have not known, I indeed was pregnant from the last post and have a beautiful healthy baby boy, Kem. He nine months old now, and the light of my life and the vacuum of all my energy!
Which is why I need to get back to raw freedom, lol!
I have also am having a crazy icky mucus laden cold for almost 2 weeks now and baby and I have been sniffing and sneezing and all kinds of congested.
and I miss my clear skin, although my whipped shea butter is really blessing usThese WI winds are serious, although i am SO glad I am not on the East Coast this year. Be warm people!
Anyways, will be back twice a week to post and share my life a bit. Planning to green smoothie thru the rest of the month, and then start a new raw challenge in March.
I hope you all are well and warm :)
with love and ginger tea,
rawnaija
