This is my Nineveh!
The Tennis Ball, the whatever.. and the home sick day...
We had interesting morning hours at Casa de Kitter today. Lets rewind to 24 hours ago....
One of our puppies, Bacon, had just ripped apart his tennis ball and eaten half of it, and .. well I wasn't feeling so great following my casadilla.
I'm almost through my transition down and this week it's good buy to the tortillas and the white meet. OH MY! .. and I think my body was trying to tell me something...
First things first, we woke up to a puking puppy about 130. Apparently the rubber portions of his tennis ball didn't agree with him.. Following the hour and a half of caring for the little guy until he fell asleep it was my DB and I fighting over the bathroom. Nothing down stayed down.. and nothing in stayed in...
4 hours later we called into work and were both home for a pretty miserable start to the morning with a still queasy puppy.
By noon we were up and about, took care of the puppy needs. Luckily we're both much better and Bacon is back to normal fighting with his sister Bink and chasing the cat, Hunter-Kitty, around the apartment.
Tomorrow is the night I bid my fond farewell to fish. I've always loved suishi and for Valentines Day, we're heading out to our favorite suishi bar to enjoy heart shaped salmon in a salad and all the raw seaweed salad I can stand. =)
The transitioning has been difficult with my DB not making it with me, but I can tell you that there are marked improvements that I can see on my face and well.. the parts of me that were broken our and pretty gross (even though I know it'll probably be broken out and pretty gross once the detox blues settle in).
We made some important life choices this week. My DB is still encouraging regarding healthier choices and when I mentioned starting an online magazine about making healthier life choices, reviewing restaurants, (raw ones mostly) and other genres so that we can discuss better choices that can be made on the table, fitness programs, clubs, races etc... he was surprisingly on board. We have a philosophy, we have some awesome ideas for articles for the first run .. now we just need to agree on a name, purchase webhosting.. we have some big goals, probably not obtainable, but are definitely in the reach.
Anyways, we're shutting it all down and heading to bed. See everyone Monday! =)
