This has easily been one of the best days I've had in a LONG time. Right now we're buried under 2ft. of snow here in DE. I started out the morning reading a few chapters of the book I'm working on, Freedom in Exile: The Autobiography of the Dalai Lama and then went outside to do some shoveling. I got the sidewalk and part of the driveway done when a man on a Bobcat came and finished the entire driveway for me. I love that man more than life itself right now. That snow was HEAVY. We don't know who he was but he was doing everyone's driveway and just happened to get to ours when I was starting to really sweat and wear out. How's that for perfect timing?
Then, as if that wasn't a perfect enough morning I whipped up a Fettuccine Alfredo recipe that I have been dying to try for over a year now. If you click on the link it will take you to the blog where I found the recipe. You'll have to scroll down about 1/3 of the way but it is WELL worth it. While noshing on such a rich and delectable bowl of goodness I watched Madagascar with Quentin, falling asleep (as I usually do) for a quick nap mid-movie.
