A Little of This; A Little of That

Just Get Started ~

Do you find yourself having problems getting movement in every day? Well, here are a couple of suggestions ~

If you sit at a desk, set a timer for 55 minutes. When it rings, get up and do SOMETHING! When you sit back down, set the timer for another 55 minutes. If you work an 8 hour day, you'll have done at LEAST 30 minutes that day.

Suggestions ~ walk up and down stairs; get down on the floor and up again for 5 minutes; fast walk around the block; sit-ups; push-ups (if you can't do push-ups, lean against the wall) or, do the movement snacks for the neck located on Bodacious Living. (yeah, I look like crap ~ make-up and I are not friendly ~ just ignore that part and do the moves.) :)

Even if you do 5 minutes more than what you're doing now, that's 5 minutes more than what you're doing now. If you've not been doing ANYthing for awhile, 5 minutes is more than you've been doing and, by the end of 6 days, you'll have done :30 minutes that week and, who knows? Maybe you'll feel so good, you might even go 10 minutes each day ~ or more!

The trick here? Just get started!

Write a list of things you can do in 5 minutes. Choose something different each time if you want. Doesn't have to be. If you do the neck movements in the movement snacks vids every day, you'll be feeling a lot more neck flexibility in no time.

Remember, just get started!

Injoy,

Revvell

great idea. especially for someone like me who suffers from all or nothing approach to life and changes. To do something even for a few minutes is better than to do nothing at all.

I know what you're saying. Many times I've thought if I couldn't train for at least an hour there was no point in doing anything yet, it all adds up, doesn't it? :)
