The Blog of IamLoved
Another benefit of raw postpartum
This is so funny because I hadn't even thought about it until just yesterday. With every other child I would always be so tired while nursing. Which makes sense. Nursing allows a mother to relax and enjoy her baby. It forces us to take it easy and not overdo it. But nursing my babies would literally put me on the verge of sleep and I would doze off as I sat and nursed or at the very least close my eyes to rest. It happened the most during the first 2 or so weeks. This time I have only had that happen once so far. Just once! I have had a lot more energy. It is so basic that it did not even occur to me until I found myself dozing while nursing our little angel and then I went, hey wait a minute that is the first time that happened and it used to happen all the time!
I don't know if anyone else will find this so fascinating, but I sure did. Very interesting! I love raw!
Oh, and I am making more kale chips. The ones I made yesterday did not last long. They were so good. This time I am making a spicy tomato and chili cheese kale chip. I can't wait to try them. Mmmmmmmm! I even sent my DH to the store to get me some more kale!! Yummo!
