Training Days 57 & 58
It's raining, it's pouring the old man is snoring!
We're getting the beginnings of this hurricane weather right now so it's raining mightily and... well, yep, the husband IS still snoring.
Yesterday I was continuing to feel really BLAH but made it through with flying colors. I woke up absolutely famished yesterday morning and felt like I did nothing but eat and think about food all day. In the morning I had 2 bananas and a mango, then I slathered some homemade raw peanut butter and cape gooseberry puree on a piece of raw cinnamon raisin bread. Later I decided to make some pasta salad with chopped summer veggies, kelp noodles and raw Italian dressing and a big peach cobbler. So far I've eaten about half of each.
Today I'm headed to a (free) clothing swap and am hoping to get all the sweaters, pants, skirts, coats and whatever else I need for the fall and winter months. I was just saying the other day that I needed to get some clothes for the cooler months and hopefully this will prove fruitful. In fact, I did something scary yesterday. I donated all of my "fat clothes" to the swap. I've been TERRIFIED to get rid of them for fear that I would suddenly gain all the weight back. I decided to take a leap of faith though and just do it. I couldn't have 5 garbage bags full of clothes sitting on my bedroom floor forever so yesterday was the day. DH loaded them all up and took them to the church and hopefully someone else will be able to make use of them.
After the swap DH and I are headed up the interstate to do some shopping and see a movie. DS10 went to stay with the grandparents for the weekend last night so we've got the day all to ourselves. I was hoping to shoot up to Arnold's Way for dinner since we'll only be about 30 min. from there while we're shopping but with this nasty weather I'm thinking that's not going to happen. Oh well. I've got some more delicious Pasta Salad and Peach Cobbler I can nosh on.
