day 18 and hungry

Rate this Entry
Been so busy with my new office, and my computer has been on the fritz, so, writing in has been challenging, but, I've stayed raw...yay. I don't think I can remember everything I've had each day, though. Today I can't believe how hungry I am! I am amazed that some days I am really not very hungry, and others, I am ravenous. I try to just listen to my body and feed it good raw stuff.

By the way...thanks Starfire for being such a great supporter! I wish I had more time to read all your blogs too! You sound like such an interesting person, and I would love to see you dance.

Anyway, today I had part of a date-nut torte, a large salad with lots of olives....I never used to like olives that much, but now I love them! Even black ones, which I never liked at all. Funny how tastes change once you get the junk out of your diet. 2 larabars, 2 handfuls of raw almonds, and part of a green smoothie. I only have the other half of my smoothie left to get me through 4 more patients! Ahhh. Oh well..I have a stash of larabars in my desk, though I like to limit to 2 of those per day.

I am feeling like I want to get a dehydrator to add more variety into my diet. So, I am kind of waiting for Alissa's to come out so I can see it before I get anything else. And, I'm waiting for the health food store to get more unsweetened coconut in, so I can make another banana creme pie...that was awesome!

This is my first official day of treating in my new office space. Everyone loves it. It has a really great energy. Even all the other practitioners in the building (there are 7 of us total...only 2 acupuncturists) are in awe...asking if they can consult me about stuff for their rooms. And my husband (often a hard one to impress) couldn't stop talking about how clever some of my solutions to some problems were. Yay. Maybe raw makes you more creative. I've definately felt happier in general eating raw.

I would post pictures of my new space, but, for some reason, none of my pictures that I take are small enough to put on here, and there is a post from Alissa about only putting in before and after photos of ourselves, since photos take up so much space on the server. But, I might put some on my own website, and then people can link to that to see my room.

oh, as of this morning, I am down 7 lbs since starting raw.

hope all are doing great....Dawn

OMG!! Congrats on the weight loss! and YES!! put your stuff on another site so we can see the office! I would do that too but I don't know how to set up a site somewhere (anywhere else) hmmm I'll have to work on that! Blessings that you're on day 18!! I wish now that I had waited to Get Alissa's dehydrator, but oh well, I've told my boss he's going to buy me one for the office - then I'll just switch them and use Alissa's at home! ;)

I know dehydrators are not necessary to be RAW - but I love mine! It has really helped me ALOT, to stay on track. I can make flax seed crackers all day and all night because I love eating them soo much and they fill me up!
