Steppin' ... Cellulite and a rant!

Headed out at 5 a.m. for a "short" walk. Went to the library and dropped off a book; then went up the hill a bit, found a street I'd not been on, took a left, then crossed the main drag and continued on. By the time I got home, it was over 90 minutes and 9,000+ steps later. Short walk? HAH!
Yesterday, I did the nekkid checking meself out thing. Was curious about what was going on with the cellulite. Have to say, lookin' pretty good for a middle aged wench. Butt's pretty good; interior thighs are getting there. Been drinking about 1 pint of grapefruit juice a day cutting 50/50 with water. I think that, plus whatever working out I'm doing has gotten the lymph moving. For those who have cellulite and try the grapefruit, let me warn you, it tends to look REALLY worse before it gets better ~ for me it did. But, once it's gone... niiiiice!
O.k., so, Alissa told me that she'd been getting email from folks here complaining about my marketing. I also see people here complaining about David Wolfe and his marketing. Someone even said something about my saying I've unsubscribed from DW ~ saying I was "protesting". Absolutely untrue. I admire David. I unsubscribed because I have no interest in products or what he's selling. Now, if he were giving me information, I'd probably continue but, he's not. So, no interest. When he gets to be my age, then come talk to me about "longevity". Well, he'll never get to my age because by the time he gets to my "current" age, I'll be 85 and he'll still be a youngster in my eyes. ;)
The point is, as a man, I've always enjoyed David. He could be going around with a big head. Instead, every time I've seen him, he's been very affable and willing to speak with anyone who approaches. On the day he and Matt were doing the durian eat-off, we were waiting quite awhile beyond the scheduled time because David was chatting with people as he was walking over. He could have been rude, brushed everyone off and just hurried away. So, was he rude to those of us waiting? *shrugs* Whatevah! It was all good; it was all fun!
Nope! I enjoy David. No matter how many are vying for his attention, I've not personally seen him be rude; I HAVE seen him friendly and very balanced. He's one of the few people I know who has a very strong magnetic charisma and, he instinctively knows how to use it.
I think his marketing skills are awesome. He's taken what he's read and gotten from the best marketers in the world and utilized what he's learned.
I also think that people who criticize him (or me) need to check their bank accounts. It's like people who are fat criticizing those who are thin; or people who are poor criticizing those who are wealthy. You can't be, do or have what others have, be or do if you don't take pleasure in their being, doing and having. When I see someone with lots of money or something I want, I say it ~ "I WANT that!"
If you disparage what someone else is doing, methinks you need to see what you're doing ~ or not doing. What they have that you don't. I'm assuming David is quite comfortable financially. He's done what it takes to have that. We don't all have to do what he's doing yet, if you're crying poor and complaining about his "high" prices, then, maybe you need to figure how to create more income. If you've got a product or service, you need to figure out how to market yourself. If you've got issues with people who do market themselves then, whose problem is that? Certainly not theirs. Their doing fine.
If you're overweight and you begrudge someone who is height/weight proportionate, maybe you need to find out what their doing to be that way.
If you're pointing at what someone is doing and disparaging them for it, maybe you need to see who the other three fingers are pointing at.
For me, I learn from everyone. When I realized I was carrying more weight than I wanted, I didn't look at heavier people and go "Well, at least I'm not like THAT!" OR, I didn't look at slimmer people and say "Well, they can eat ANYthing, they're THIN" (with a sneer).
What I did was look at ME! Wow! What am I doing to gain this weight? What can I do to eliminate it? And later, how can I assist others who are having the same issue? That's how I got into my business in the first place. I healed so many things ~ my issues with food, with money, relationships ~ I HAD to share with others!!!
So, I did the research; I've done and continue to do the experiments AND, I've offered to take people with me. For those who have issues with me charging? Well, that's why you're not where I am. YOU HAVE ISSUES WITH MONEY! No my problem, mon.
I charge because I've DONE the work for 23+ years! I've PAID others to teach me what they know. I've spent my time LEARNING!
I once worked with a chiropractor doing bodywork. People would tell me they didn't come to see him, they came to see me because I was the one helping them. One day he came to me and told me that when I wasn't with patients, I should teach the other women to do what I did. HUH? I was paying $100 weekly per individual session; $500 a month for group sessions; more money each month for materials and $125 a month for movement class, and he wanted me to give this away for his hourly chump change? I suggested he set up a time when the office was closed and pay me my required fee to teach. That never happened ~ neither did the "when you're not busy" thing.
Besides that I've taken classes and seminars with Loral Langemeier, T. Harv Ecker, Chris Howard, June Davidson, Arvee Robinson AND more ~ and paid BIG $$$ to do it!
See, if you don't have self-esteem and not clear on what your services/product is worth, how can you ask what you want? You can't. All you can do is complain about what others are doing. How's that working for you?
The thing is, if you're not where YOU want to be ~ financially, physically, mentally, emotionally ~ whatever ~ Check inside YOU! If you're criticizing the wealthy, why would you want to be wealthy? If you criticize thinner people, why would you want to be like them? I can't imagine!
I revel in what others are doing. I look to see how they are doing it. What are they doing that I'm not?
I once worked at a multi-millionaire's home. He told me "if you don't have enough money, make more". Well, I don't remember ANYthing he told me other than that during our 3 hours or so together. "If you don't have enough money, make more". IF my saying that bothers you, you've got an issue with money. Been there, done that, got over it.
What I learn, I share. I paid for it in time and money and yes, I charge. I also give a LOT free. The women in my classes are getting MUCH more than they paid for and MUCH more than they were promised.
I've been doing Rawkin' Radio for what? 3 years now? All that takes MY time and MY money AND my engineer's time! Let's Talk Raw? $25 one-time, life-time fee to cover MY monthly software cost so people can listen via the internet for FREE instead of running up their phone bill. It doesn't near cover the cost of my time.
So yes, I'm marketing "Tap Into Your Ideal Weight". I did the research, I did the experiment; it's already worked for thousands of others and, for two more days, I'm keeping the tele-classes at THE rock-bottom price. It'll never be lower and you'll never see that price again. I'd suggest you take advantage if you're tired of the struggle. It's not just about the food; it's your mind and your emotions.
Injoy,
Revvell
