Ok, so my husband and I have just been eating WAAAAYYYY too much sugar and sodium. Still vegetarian and mostly no dairy (except for some occasional cheese) but both of us are feeling the sluggish effects. We had company and it went ok but w/ him being from NY and coming down to the Big D, we had to take him for Tex-Mex and Steak. Hubby and I didn't eat meat (had no desire to) but did have some veggie quesadillas (light on cheese) and mushrooms cooked - lots of cooked foods. We also found ourselves eating our normal raw foods in a less than healthy way - guac on chips instead of raw carrots, etc...

So, we've both gained about 2-4 lbs, sex drive all but gone , bloated, gassy, slower digestion, more dreams/less restorative sleep, etc...

Back to 100% raw tomorrow.

This week is exciting - I start a new Yoga gig at a local country club - I'm always excited to start teaching new students - it's a great opportunity to introduce health and wellness little by little. I start Saturday!

My husband and son both were awarded their blue belts at Taekwondo last Thursday. I'm so proud of them both - they've worked so hard!!

Gotta get to bed - need good sleep to start fresh tomorrow... I'm goign to have a huge green smoothie for breakfast. Yum.

Checking into our body 'guages' is so important. Noticing those changes, subtle or drastic, are important - and thank you for sharing them. It helps me to stay RAW when I read posts like yours. Because I can see that being RAW is truly amazing - and when we dabble (even slightly) in a lifestyle that i can no longer call mine... I will DEFINITELY feel it! Blessings!
