A Little of This; A Little of That

O.kayyy! I'm almost up-to-par. Feeling REALLY good in the a.m.'s, 'specially after a good bm. The morning's are cool so it's time to get all my physical work done ~ water my garden, train, clean... whatever. The temp has been well up into the 90's and the humidity is fairly high. I'm not tolerating it well so, 'bout 1 p.m. or so, pretty much shut down and read, study, watch dvd's downstairs where it's cooler or, have two fans blowing on me. We rarely use the a/c as we've got a 5-bedroom house and it's a waste of money just because we want to cool two rooms.
Almost every room in this house has a ceiling fan, so that's sweet.
Going to be speaking/demoing at a so-called "holistic health expo" on Saturday. The organizer emailed and told me that she's thinking of having El Polo Loco come in so I'd have to share the kitchen. Told her that wasn't happening. Me or them. I don't share a kitchen with people selling factory-farmed animal carcasses. (or, any other, for that matter).
I told her I thought this was a holistic health expo? Why you want to cater to peoples' desires instead of educating them? Well, if EPL shows up (they were talking about a booth), I'll be doing some educating when I speak. Wasn't what I'd planned on yet, please, this is a holistic HEALTH expo! She's basically looking to fill the booths.
Anyway, I'm still in. Got a booth, going to sell my books, Mike Anderson's dvd's, Ronnie and Minh's dvd, do a smoothie demo and talk about how people are so concerned about whether I wear gloves to prepare food yet they're willing to put feces infested, anti-biotic laden, disease-ridden animal carcasses in their lil mouths. Think I'll be making friends?
Actually, just found a good article so, going to copy it and hand it out to folks eating chicken ~ if EPL is there.
Today, kitchen cleaning. Going to make most of the food at the facility ~ they've got a GREAT, HUGE kitchen! Just a few things here so, doing a VERY thorough, cleaning. I love having a clean kitchen.
Oh! been doing some light workouts. Did a bit with a kettlebell last night and, some Turbo Jam this morning AFTER squeezing a gallon of oj AND, thoroughly cleaning the sinks, drain board, etc. Got the kitchen rugs in the washer. Next, counters, floors and equipment.
Gotta ship out some orders, go to Smart and Final and pick up plates, bowls, etc. and figure out my menu.
Oh! Fat to Fit ~ didn't much have to remember that being as I've not been eating much. Can't even sit and eat 2#'s of cherries as I use to which, I think, is a good thing. But now, I'm feeling better. What was funny was, when I wasn't feeling well, I really craved junk food. If you'd have stuck a regular slice of pizza in my face, no guarantee I'd not have eaten it. Of course, it would have been the worst thing to do to myself in the condition I was in yet, that's what many of us do. We "listen to our bodies" and hurt ourselves. Well, it's not your body.. it's that lil ol' monkey mind looking to avoid what's going on in the body ~ stop the pain; stop the cleanse... just stop! I didn't do it and He didn't have pizza or any other food in front of me for those 5 days. I subsisted on water and coconut water with probiotics and came through. Now, I want raw again. How cool is that?
I still have to bring consiousness when going in the fridge/freezer/cupboards. My guy loves his cheese, ice cream, breads, etc. So, which way do I want to go? Do I want to put on the pound I'd eliminated? Back to fat? Or, keep heading towards fit? Always, my choice.
Injoy,
Revvell
