Day 1 - Oh why did there have to be cheesecake?

Today was day one! And it's going prettttty fine!

My lunch is a salad with arugala, spinach, cucumber, tomatoes, clover sprouts, mung bean sprouts, cashews. The salad is dressed with raw blue agave and celtic sea salt.

I brought with me, in addition to my salad, a gallon of filtered spring water with a table spoon of honey and half a lemons worth of fresh juice which cooked out in the sun for a bit, a bag of veggies and nuts and a bag of cherries and blueberries plus an apple.

Always have food on hand is one of the first things Alissa said in the video. So I've got that much handled. Even when they pulled out cheese cake and breakfast tacos for our team at work.

I had a spoonfull of the cheese cake, just to get a taste of it. One of the things I learned the last time I made it through detox was that it was better to have a taste of something that you craved rather than deny yourself because when you deny you're likely to splurge/binge the next time you want what you were craving.

Tonight I'll hit the treadmill and the pool and clean up the last of my cooking supplies I no longer need so I can get them packed away.

Soo stuffed mushroom caps for dinner tonight YAY! And ordering the spirally gizmo thingy .. mmmm I wonder if they have one at crate and barrell...

So, here's to day one and surviving it! Huzzahh!
