A Little of This; A Little of That

Down Even More ~

Rate this Entry
I've never used a scale before recently and it's fascinating to me. I've weighed myself before AND after I go to the bathroom; in the morning and in the evening. I weighed myself just now and.... down again!!!

Usually the morning I'm lighter and the evening, heavier. I can lose a pound just having a good bm ~ or not.

If you ARE going to weigh yourself, do so at the same time. I really don't think it's something for obsessive people to do (and no, I'm not obsessing ~ just researching as I'm working my Fit or Fat program.) I think a tape measure will record your progress better as your body transforms. Mine sure has.

More fluid ~ water and grapefruit juice ~ less cellulite. 9 pounds gone (yeah, weighed).

Interview this morning with Alissa for Rawkin Radio. A reunion of sorts since she and I started Rawkin Radio together. Not chatted with her for quite some time. That will be up next week.

Very enlightening episode with Tonya Kay last evening on Let's Talk Raw. She's funny and informative.

I'm thinking I'll be setting up some no-cost teleclasses around my Tap Into Your Ideal Weight Program. It's working so well for me. I can't imagine people who want to eliminate weight not wanting to do it. I've changed nothing specifically. Just got in touch with various aspects of eating.

My teacher is on vacation for two months. Coach Tara took over. My lawd! Thought I'd signed up for bootcamp! We never stopped moving for 90 minutes AND it was HOT out there!!!

Ah well, I'm still here! Thinking of actually taking a bootcamp. I'm better training with a partner/group than alone. Hmmm. Might check that out.

Oh! when I first started these, I mentioned that my brother had died and, being next of kin, I was in line for his (very small) estate. Well, seems bro had gotten married about 20 years or so ago ~ and never divorced so, she gets it! I'm out! Guess I'll continue to thrive though I'll bet my mother is rolling in her grave (whoever came up with THAT statement and what the heck does if mean?) if she knows "that woman" as she called her had gotten her money ~ which is where it all came from 3 years ago. lol Oh well! Life goes on and, it's a good one.

Enjoy!

    Thank you!

Yeah, really funny turn of events. Glad I wasn't attached to the money. Sure makes life easier ~ non-attachment. Would have been nice to have although, one very wealthy gent once told me ~ don't have enough money? Make more!

    Thanks for reading and commenting.

Do you ever have to force yourself to tap or maybe decide not to because you'd rather eat? That's what caused my downfall when I've tried it in the past. Got to get around my mind

I have to remember to tap but usually I do it in the morning. Also, I do have to remember when I DO eat to ask Fit or Fat because I then make a "more" conscious choice. Saturday, I consciously chose "fat" and had all the rationalizations for it. I now realize that I was nervous about Sunday's talk ~ which is why I took the wrong freeway and got there late.

Yeah, I think, before you get to the point of eating, you might do the tapping. How about ~ "Even though I'll want to eat and not tap, I choose to eat consciously and with love for myself"?

or, "Even though I'll want to eat unconsciously, I choose to do what's best for me because I love, honor and accept myself"?

I like the comment about don't have enough money, make more. :) Good way of looking at it. :) Thanks!

Revvell, I don't know much about tapping and am wondering, do you have to keep tapping for the rest of your life or is this a behavior modification thing, so at some point you don't have to do that?

Yeah, it's another consciousness thing. Anytime I feel I don't have enough ~ well hell, make more!

Sometimes there are what they call "one minute wonders" where a habit or issue is resolved immediately. Other times, there are numerous aspects which come up so, when one is taken care of, others need to be resolved. Once those are all resolved, then, done with that issue.

For instance say with my father's death. There were a lot of issues involved ~ seeing him in the casket (vision); he was the one who brought fun into my life; abandonment; men; his relationship with my mother ~ which becomes another issue ~ my relationship with my mother, etc.

For me, personal growth is a life-long issue and so, I keep finding more things to play with. I think it's a great internal adventure AND, once you know how to do it (tapping), it's easy, it's fun, it takes about 30 seconds, it's free and, most of all, it's freeing!!!

I find your use of the word "have" to interesting. I don't "have" to ~ I "get" to. See, I'm probably more stable and more connected to life than most people I know. My teacher ~ even more so. I figure if HE's doing it, then, what the heck? It's worth my time. Does that make sense?

Huh, that sounds defensive or condescending. You have done this to me before, when I've answered or asked a perfectly innocent question. I don't know why you would criticize someone like this? I will stop responding to you, I guess. Oh well, thanks for enligtening me on this subject. I've heard about it, but didn't know anyone actually doing it.

What in the above paragraph didn't I say correctly?

Interesting how you're perceiving my answer which is neither defensive, condescending nor criticizing. I just reread it and can't see what you're referring to. I've not done anything "to" you at all but responded to your question and, instead of a "thank you" for taking your time, you become defensive? Interesting.

I only become defensive if I'm feeling attacked ~ and I wasn't and am not now ~ and nither were you. I'm just curious. Actually, currently, I'm just confused. Take care.
