Yesterday was such a great day!!!

my husband and I went to a couples yoga and thai massage class yesterday morning. it was incredible! there were only two other couples there, so it was practically like having a private session. we were outside at a park downtown and it was so beautiful and sunny. i feel so blessed to have a husband who likes to go do activities with me. he doesn't do yoga at all (has only been to 1 class before) but he is always willing to try new things. i love it!

on our way home I stopped and got a green juice with pineapple and ginger. so refreshing! then for lunch, we went and got take out and had a picnic on the University of Washington campus (where we met 11 yrs ago). it was his idea - so stinking cute!

This morning we got up and my husband started cleaning our condo. I really wanted to go to yoga, but I didn't want to leave all the cleaning to him. I told him that and he said just to go to yoga, so I did. I had a fabulous class - on the week days, the class I go to is 60 minutes, and today it was 90 minutes. It was so nice to have that extra half hour to really work my body! I got home and our place looks beautiful! My hubby did a wonderful job cleaning, and I appreciated it SO much. he's the best - I'm so lucky :)

Now I'm waiting for my friend to call and we're going to lunch. She's here from Oregon & I'm taking her to a raw restaurant - I'm so excited! I took her the last time she was here too, but that was for breakfast. So I'm looking forward to her trying the lunch menu and the desserts - yummy!!! Plus, they just updated the menu and they have three new dishes that I'm eager to try.

After that, we were supposed to go golfing with a different friend, but it's cold & rainy outside. Instead we're going to so see the movie "The Proposal" which I've been wanting to see. And then after that, we're having dinner w/ my in-laws. We're going to a mexican restaurant that has the best guacamole! I'm not having ANY chips though. Whenever we go there, I ask for a plate of jicama, and I dip that in the guac & salsa instead of chips.

busy weekend, but all fun stuff!

Indeed you are blessed that your husband shares your interests and is willing to do house cleaning!!! My hubby's idea of cleaning the house is scrubbing the sink with my nail brush. But he does change the vacumn cleaner bag and take out the garbage. :)

Did you go to Thrive? What yummy dish did you have?

yep knitster, we went to Thrive. They have a new taco salad that was really good!

are you going to the event this Saturday at Raw Vegan Source? I think I'm going to be out of town, but if those plans fall through, I will try to go.

I'm going to be at the Bite of Seattle on Friday helping at the Thrive booth.

I talked with Tom about it last time I was there. He had me convinced to come but didn't know how to add the ticket to the register. I told him I would go online and buy it but I'm having doubts about going alone, the long day, and how much money I would spend there. Just read Suzanne's email about volunteering some time to get in free. I'm going to call tomorrow and see what that would involve. I'm sure I would be kicking myself for missing it. Looks like a once in a great while opportunity.

If I go to the Bite I'll be sure and check in at the Thrive booth.

You could go volunteer to get in for free and leave your wallet at home :)
(or take a set amount of cash, but no credit card)
