Walking!

Rate this Entry
Good walking day yesterday ~ over 13,000 steps. Someone was giving away a piano in our city so, walked over to see it. Got it! That got almost 6,000 steps. Now, just have to figure out how to get it. Probably have to rent a uHaul and hire a couple of guys.

Then we went to a vegan festival at Pierce College, checked out a nursery for various grasses for our yard; ground cover, etc. as we're looking to change the yard to use less water.

Went out for lunch, then home; walked to Blockbuster (next door) and came home to kick back.

Had a salad at San Sai for lunch and took about 1/3 home for dinner.

That's about it. No great awarenesses.

Leaving tomorrow a.m. to go to Nev. to visit Ronnie and Minh for a few days. We'll be talking biz and whether we want to do something or not ~ we'll see. Not going to talk about it until we chat about it. It'll be nice to be with folk who eat 100% raw and get most of the food from their own garden and Minh will be preparing all the food (although, if she'll allow me, I'll have my hands in it too). It'll also be nice to know what they do to have a garden in 100+ degree heat!

Be back soon!

Thanks Renee! Nev. was fun. Nice to have someone making all the food for us. Felt a bit intrusive though. We were staying at their farm and every day would go over for food. We were invited yet, felt like beggars. "Hi, we're here for lunch ~ and dinner"

Anyway, we're going to have retreats on the farm. Pics on my blog. Much of the original farm was washed away in a flood and Ronnie said he's not had the heart to fix anything. Guess the timing is right because he's going to upgrade the property, upgrade the "big house" and do what's necessary for us to have a retreat for up to about 20 people! We'll possibly be doing 3 day and 5-6 day events. I'm so excited! More on this coming soon!
