I got a call yesterday telling me that my
Dad is in the hospital. He says he's feeling better, but my gut says this is more serious than what is being presented.
He has walking pneumonia, and went into the hospital because of severe chills. When he got there they said his white blood count was way up. He thinks it's due to anemia - he's admitted to having something bleeding out in his small intestine, sadly, can't or won't give more info on that.
His mother died of pneumonia when she was in her 80s. This feels all too much like when she passed. She was rallying and not expected to die, and then the next day she was gone. My husband and I both sensed yesterday that this could also be the case for my Dad...
Taking it as it comes.
